AUDREY HAMILTON
A. H. Wanderer
The past 6 years I have been an abstract digital photographer, since finding my passion later on in my adult life. I prefer Nikon cameras and currently use the Nikon Z7ii. My favorite “go to” lens is the Nikkor 24-70mm which is very versatile. For editing, I try to keep my images as natural as possible; however, recently I have started playing with AI and stacking images to create a feeling of a multi medium image.
I grew up outside of Ithaca, NY on a farm which included 20 acres of woodlands. The trees, pastures, and murky pond were my playground where I loved watching insects and climbing trees. My childhood adventures have definitely shaped my photography work. I am comfortable standing in marshy environments and exploring the unknown - where others might be wary. I am in my element. - the persistence in life among sludges. Dancing has also shaped my work with years in ballet.
When I am not wandering outside with my camera; I enjoy caring for my 3 year old German Shepherd, Saranac and spending time with family.
